General Pricing Principles
Every dog is different, which means pricing can vary significantly from pet to pet.
Pricing is based on the time, coat, behaviour, skill and staff required for your dog's appointment — not size alone.
Factors that may affect pricing include:
- Size
- Coat type, thickness and length
- Coat condition
- Matting, tangles or excess undercoat
- Behaviour and handling requirements
- Haircut style and difficulty
- Time required
- Whether additional staff assistance is needed
The prices below are general estimates for pets who are groomed regularly and arrive in good coat condition.
The best ways to keep grooming costs down are to maintain your pet's coat at home, keep them on an appropriate professional grooming schedule, and help them become comfortable with the grooming process.
Dogs who are overdue, matted, heavily impacted, require significant extra brushing or require additional assistance during grooming should expect to pay more than a routine appointment.
If you have a particular budget or pricing restriction, please let us know when booking or at drop-off. We are happy to discuss available options.
